Pet Portrait Commissions ā Dogs
Dogs are such characters and every single one is different – Itās my challenge to try to capture the character – Iāve been commissioned to paint a number of dog breeds including the āHeinzā variety. The commissions arise for a number of reasons but often for special gifts; a variety of occasions, birthday, anniversary and pet memorials are quite common.
Such a symbolic wild flower that means so much to many of us. A single poppy or a whole field of poppies, the result is a thought provoking and a very special wild flower!
Hosted by stylish Living North Magazine Iām just back from the home and gifts exhibition at York Racecourse, Iām feeling exhilarated and so happy to receive direct customer feedback for my work. Iām very happy the comments I received mostly good and complementary, āThatās unusualā, āStunningā āhow did you make that?ā but there were a few hilarious comments too!
There are several elements to this that made it such a complex artwork! Iāll explain a little my approach and what I did to achieve the final result
Original artwork – Reminiscent of our own Mackerel fishing trip, the Mackerel seem to have escaped the boat and could be found swimming happily on the opposite side!
