Dogs are such characters and every single one is different – It’s my challenge to try to capture the character – I’ve been commissioned to paint a number of dog breeds including the ‘Heinz’ variety. The commissions arise for a number of reasons but often for special gifts; a variety of occasions, birthday, anniversary and pet memorials are quite common.

Hosted by stylish Living North Magazine I’m just back from the home and gifts exhibition at York Racecourse, I’m feeling exhilarated and so happy to receive direct customer feedback for my work. I’m very happy the comments I received mostly good and complementary, “That’s unusual”, “Stunning” “how did you make that?” but there were a few hilarious comments too!
